I thought it would be fun to make our own ornaments and paint them together like my mom did with my sister and me when we were little. I was thinking that the painting part would be the most fun, but actually the best part was the rolling of the dough and using the cookie cutters. Do you think Grant was excited about his ornament???

That's a great idea! I'm trying to come up with an ornament for Ella and Emma to make each year to add to the tree. I have Ella's hand print from her first Christmas and will add Emma's this year, last year Ella colored and used glitter glue on a pre-cut wood Rudolph ornament, and I'm planning to head to Michaels today to find something (easy) for this year. :-)
