Nate and his dad were planning to go to a race in Monterey in early September. Nate invited me and the kids to come along so we did!
Headed to dinner with Papa with a Beard
After dinner, we needed a little calming down time before bed. The kids watched Dora on the iPad.
The kids' new sleeping bags arrived just in time. They loved them.
While Nate and his dad were at the race, we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We saw all kinds of cool things.
At the end of the day, they picked out souvenirs. Grant got a hammerhead shark and Kate chose a sea otter...which she insisted was a beaver.
