A Visit from Grandpa

Nate's dad came to visit this last weekend. They had a great time hanging out together. Grant and I got to join them for dinner on Saturday night and breakfast on Sunday morning before heading back to the airport. Here Grant is hanging out with Grandpa while waiting for a table.

Fun Weekend

Grant can finally ride in the car for long periods without making everyone a frazzled mess--yay! For the long weekend, we went to visit Nate's new office and then to Downtown Disney.
Grant was so quiet the whole ride. I looked back and saw that he'd found his feet and was gnawing on his toes...or at least his socks.

Grant wasn't a fan of the restaurant. When the lights dimmed and the lightning flashed, he got pretty upset. For some reason the elephants really bothered him, but the gorillas were okay.

Disneyland

Grant and I went to Disneyland with Jill and her kids. With all those kids, we didn't get too many pictures.

What a cute little chef!

Kegan took great care of Grant as always. When we went through the dark tunnels on the train, she took his hand and told him, "It's okay, Granty, don't be scared." What a sweetie! After our dinner at the Cafe Orleans, Grant gave her lots of kisses in appreciation.
