Big Shoes to Fill

Grant loves shoes. He totes his shoes everywhere around the house and digs through closets to find mine and bring them to me. He tries to carry Nate's, but they are normally too big and bulky for the little guy. Today as I was washing dishes he got very quiet and I turned to see this:

Grant was really giggling when he watched himself on this video.

Little Organizer

Grant loves to sort things. Today I peeked into the hall and saw 3 of his shoes sitting on the gate. He was busy in the kitchen trying to find another to add to the collection.


He found one more, lined it up with the others, then knocked them off one by one. It's fun to watch him and try to figure out what he's thinking.

The Stick Collector

We went to the park the other night. The playground was super packed, so decided to sit over in the grassy area. Grant was busy the whole time collecting things and exploring. He liked to hike to the top of the "hill" and run down as fast as he could. He had some spectacular face-plants, but didn't seem to mind at all.

Gotcha Day

Grant's Gotcha Day was on Friday. We celebrated with his favorite foods for dinner and ended the evening with a new car. Fortunately, he loved the new car.







Emma loves ribbon and tried to steal the balloons away from Grant.

New Car

Here's a little video of Grant in the new car he got for Gotcha Day. Unfortunately, you have to watch sideways since I can never remember that you can't turn the camera sideways while filming. Hopefully I'll remember that the next time...
