Easter

We were supposed to visit with Nate's family for Easter, but we all caught colds right before we were supposed to go.  :-(

We made a recipe that had leeks in it--something Grant had never seen before--so we spent a while cutting it up and examining it.

 As you can see, Kate was very excited.  

 Grant got some sea creatures that grow in water.  You can never go wrong with Grant and sea creatures.

 Easter Egg Hunt!!

 "Look, Dad, it's an eggplant!"  

(Oh, yeah--we have another punner in the family.)

 What a good brother...always sharing.

 Hmmm...this never happened when we were growing up, did it Jill?  A poor Cadbury egg left unfinished.

The kids ended the day with some fun in the water.
