Grant was out riding his bike today and I heard a rustling in the bushes. I looked down and saw one of these guys slithering around. I'd never seen such a big snake out in the "wild" before. Grant wanted to go back and see it again, but I decided we should go inside and make sure it wasn't dangerous. He said he wants to "show Grandma" when they go on their walks next week. I think it's one sight she'll be happy to miss.

Snake
Grant was out riding his bike today and I heard a rustling in the bushes. I looked down and saw one of these guys slithering around. I'd never seen such a big snake out in the "wild" before. Grant wanted to go back and see it again, but I decided we should go inside and make sure it wasn't dangerous. He said he wants to "show Grandma" when they go on their walks next week. Nice! NOT! What kind is it? Sorry the rustling wasn't just a grasshopper like I encountered the other day!
